Summer Mandarin Chinese Program

This program enhances structured language learning with a plethora of creative and practical activities. Students will improve their Chinese speaking and listening skills, also learn to read and write Chinese characters.  Other parts of the program include Chinese dance, Chinese calligraphy, Chinese culinary art, Chinese painting, and Chinese culture and traditions. In addition, our immersion environment allows students to gain Chinese language skills and cultural knowledge in a natural way.

Program Details:
Age: 6-12
Date/Time: June 17-28 (Session 1), July 8-19 (Session 2), July 22 – Aug 2 (Session 3), M-F 9:30am-4:30pm
Cost: $880/session, $500/week

Early Drop-Off and Extended Care available.

Mr. Qining Cai

Chinese Teacher
Mr. Cai was a professor of Chinese in China before coming to SFHSA. He has taught Chinese language for thirty five years. He also taught media production and also has extensive knowledge in Chinese literature and culture.

Ms. Min Zang

Chinese Teacher
Ms. Min Zang graduated from the Department of Chinese Teachers College and has many years of teaching experience. She currently teaches Chinese at the San Francisco High School of the Arts.
